WordPress Ping List

WordPress ping list are very useful & important to make your blog visible in major search engines by telling them that you’ve updated your blog.. I hope you know what Pinging is as you are searching for WordPress ping list for your WordPress blog.

For those who don’t know what a ping is, a ping is an XML-RPC-based push mechanism by which a weblog notifies a server that its content has been updated.

Whenever you hit publish button, edit or modify a blog post, WordPress pings to all the Ping services that are listed under your ping update service. And this is how various ping services get notified about a new post on a WordPress blog and that’s how search engine will quickly index your new blog post (or old one if you’ve modified it).

By default WordPress notifies all major ping services but we can always expand our WordPress blog’s limit by pinging more services by adding them manually under our blog’s ping updates services.

In order to add the following updated ping services to your WordPress blog you need to visit Settings>Writing and then at the very end of this page you’ll find update services section, and that is where you are going to add the following working ping list.

Alternatives

I don’t think that you’re going to need any alternative after reading above. But if you’re really interested for alternative to default WordPress Pinging Service then Feed Shark is what you need, which pings over 60 services for free.

    Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog.
